The Harvesting Phase
Perhaps the most arduous and time consuming process of growing occurs during the harvesting phase. Farmers are put to the rigorous test of cutting down their plants and loaded for delivery to a drying facility (unless the plan is to field dry, but this still involves the labor-intensive cutting and separating of the plants). For larger farms, there is an option for hemp harvesting equipment. However, smaller farms typically go the route of harvesting by hand. Both methods will required a skilled and dedicated labor force.
Below are articles to provide guidance and best practices for farmers during the hemp harvesting phase.
